No Place for Hate Week

From January 13th to 17th, the “No Place for Hate” club is holding a special dress up week to supports the message of it’s club. The days list as followed:

Monday – shade out hate

Tuesday – wear neon to out shine discrimination

Wednesday – white out hateful words

Thursday – meme day so we can laugh together

Friday – mismatch shoes so we can walk a mile in someone else’s

This happens to be one of three school wide activities the club is hosting for the 2019-2020 school year. The goal of the club is to continue to earn designation for Cy Ranch as a No Place for Hate campus.

The club has successfully broadcasted it’s message across campus by doing things such as encouraging all students and staff at Cy Ranch to sign the Resolution of Respect and post it in every classroom. The club aspires to end all kinds of hate including stereotyping, belittling jokes, ridicule, social avoidance, segregation, discrimination, threats and desecration.
