On October 30th, members of the Cypress Ranch High School Science Olympiad team participated in an invitational competition at The University of Texas at Austin.

Here are the events the team medalled in, as well as the members who participated in them:

Bridges (6th place) – Alex Krakora and Liza Bailey

Data Science (4th place) – Siddarth Radhakrishnan and Parth Tiwari

Gravity Vehicle (3rd place) – Alex Krakora and Mia Ferrante-Williams

Ping Pong Parachute (5th place) – Sanmay Sarada and Parth Tiwari

Solar Power (6th place) – Sanmay Sarada and Veronica Patino

Trajectory (3rd place) – Alex Krakora and Daivik Menon

We’ve Got Your Number (4th place) – Simran Patel and Ria Bhatia

Write It Do It (5th place) – Ria Bhatia and Mihir Bhatia

The team took home several placements, earning the school 6th place out of over 30 teams.
