The Campbell Center in Aldine was all grins on Tuesday, Nov. 11 as Mustangs packed the stands to cheer on the varsity volleyball team to a victory in its Region III-6A quaterfinal match against Cinco Ranch.
The Mustang volleyball team won 3-1, and advanced to the UIL Regional Tournament on Friday, Nov. 14 at the Campbell Center, where they played against Clear Creek High School. The Lady Mustangs won with a score of 3-2.
The volleyball team moved to the regional final on Saturday, Nov. 15 but lost to Clear Falls High School with a score of 3-2.
Though they didn’t qualify for state, the Lady Mustang volleyball players definitely set the bar high for future teams.
