Barbara Bush Passes Away at 92

Former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away on April, 17, 2018. She was 92 years old.
Both a dedicated wife to president George H.W. Bush and mother of six children (including President George W. Bush and Florida Governor Jeb Bush), Barbara Bush led an eventful life devoted to public service – known for being a champion of adult literacy and leukemia research.
Mrs. Bush passed away at her home, surrounded by her family. She had previously suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Graves’ disease
There will be a public memorial service for Mrs. Bush’s casket on Friday, April 20, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas.
The private service will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the same location. Several fellow politicians and their families, including First Lady Melania Trump, will be in attendance. From there, Mrs. Bush will be buried at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, Texas.
