On November 2, Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District will be hosting an election for the district’s School Board of Trustees.

The CFISD School Board of Trustees participates in making important decisions for the district including managing school budgets and district policies. There are currently seven trustees on the board, and three of which are up for election this fall.

As November approaches, so does the end of a four-year term for Trustees 5, 6, and 7: Dr. John Ogletree, Don Ryan, and Bob Covey. All three trustees have served on the board since November 2017 and will be up for reelection amongst many other candidates.

Students aged 18 and older are able to cast their vote in the upcoming election. Early voting will occur on October 18 through October 29 at a select number of locations and times. Regular voting will begin on November 2 from 7AM-7PM.
