At 7 P.M. on Friday, Aug. 29, the Cy Ranch Varsity football team came bolting through the giant, blown-up football helmet at Rhodes Stadium, ready for a win against Katy’s Cinco Ranch. Our boys in blue battled it out but suffered a tough loss, the final score resulting in 19-7. Junior Brandon Williamson scored Ranch’s only touchdown.

“Even though we lost our first game, the season is far from over and I’m excited to see what we accomplish!” said senior varsity player Christian Kobal.

This week is a ‘bye week,’ which means there will not be a football game. However, come out and support the team at the Homecoming game against Cy Lakes on Friday, Sept. 13 at the Berry Center. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at halftime and it is not something you want to miss!
