As most schools begin to see their cross country season come to an end, the  Cypess Ranch varsity boys team’s season has just begun. After placing 3rd overall at the CFISD district meet on Oct. 24, the team will now advance to the regional meet on Nov. 1 at Atascocita High School.

If the team is able to place in the top 4 teams at the regional meet, they will advance to the state meet and compete against other runners from all over Texas. The varsity boys team consists of seniors Dylan Brokmeyer, Brayden Lyons, Bijan Breland, and Brendon Hicks; juniors Mark Pena and Grady Guest; and freshman Zachary Turman.

“I’m expecting no less than a perfect effort from the team,” said runner Dylan Brokmeyer. “We’ve put in a lot of hard work this season and now it’s time to see it all pay off.”
