Dylan Gardner

Dylan Gardner is an incredibly talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who recently went viral after posting a video on his YouTube channel: “#DylanBrokeUpTheBeatles.” The three-minute tribute video was posted on April 10, 2014, the anniversary of when The Beatles broke up, and consists of Gardner singing 15-second segments of each song on side two of their Abbey Road album.

It’s no secret that 17-year-old Gardner is a natural-born star, with his youngest musical memory being from when he was four and performed on stage with his dad’s band. Being musically influenced from his family, Gardner learned how to play guitar, piano, and drums, and even began writing his own songs at a young age.

In fact, after Gardner’s family moved from Illinois to Arizona, Dylan decided to put all of his clothes in his parents’ room and turn his new closet into a recording studio, where he began writing and producing songs. This music, born out of countless hours working in his makeshift studio, would eventually come together to create his EP Morning Stories (which was released in 2012) and then onto his debut album, Adventures in Real Time, released in May of 2014.

With a passion for 60’s music, Gardner’s music has a sound that portrays a mix of old school tunes with a pop edge.

“When I started writing, it was all pretty strictly 60’s music, but after a couple months, this kind of ‘poppiness’ came into it almost naturally,” Gardner said in an interview with the Huffington Post.

With a new hit single “Let’s Get Started” that is featured on his debut album and a passion for writing and producing music, Gardner is definitely one to look for in the near future.
