On Monday, Dec. 7, the Cy Ranch Choir put on their winter concert. The concert was available to anyone to watch and was a beautiful performance to the ears.

The entire choir  opened the concert with “Deck the Halls,” “Night of Silence,” and “Joy to the World.”

The Bella Voce took to the stage next to perform “O come, O come, Emmanuel,” “Celebrate this Day Together,” and “The First Noel.”

Concert Men performed “Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind” and “Soldier’s Hallelujah.” Concert Women followed after with “Gloria Fanfare,” and “Jolly Old St. Nicholas.”

Chamber Choir performed “Fum, Fum, Fum,” “Carol of the Bells,” and “Hodie, Christus Natus Est,”  and the Chorale finished off the night with performances of “Candlelight Carol,” “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Jingle Bell Fantasy,” and “Silent Night.”

“I think we did pretty good,” junior Caeleh Hibbard said. “I did my part and so did the rest of the Choir.”

The Cy Ranch Choir was well-received, with the Chorale’s performance of Silent Night garnering praise due to the somber nature and ghostly nature of the song.

“The pieces we did were very good,” sophomore Hannah Sarice said. “I think we did well as a group and I am happy of the applause we received.”

The Choir will be continuing with their next performance at Encore with the theme of “Throwback.”
