The Cy Ranch Theatre department has paired up with Cy-Hope, a local nonprofit organization that gives aid to Cy-Fair schools and students, to fuel a toy drive for two schools in need of assistance during the holiday.

For two upcoming theatre shows, Jingle Jury, which will be performed on Dec. 6 at 7 P.M., and Durangfest, which will be performed on Dec. 11 at 7 P.M., any guests will be able to donate unwrapped toys at the door.

This form of gift currency is being accepted to help students enrolled in Title 1 elementary schools within our school district. All toys will be donated to Cy-Hope to distribute.

The theatre department does not require students to actually attend the shows if they wish to donate. The department is accepting unwrapped toys through Thursday, Dec. 12. Toys are to be dropped off to the theatre department, where the theatre students hope to fill the donation box and make a difference in the lives of many children.
