With late September coming up, the Cypress Ranch Theatre program has just announced their latest blockbuster, A Piece of My Heart.

A Piece of My Heart is an emotional play that tells a tale of endurance and longing as the main protagonists go through the Vietnam War. It explores the life and trying times of six nurses before, after, and during America’s lost war. The play itself is a powerful commentary on the depravity of war and the woe and misery of those on the front lines. The true stories of these women are forever etched into the pages of the play which will be presented for all to see.

The absolute power brought forth by the acting of the cast is something to behold. The overflowing dramatic actions and words produced by the cast pull on audience member’s heart strings, erupting feelings of faith and sadness. It is definitely a production not worth missing.

Theatre will be having showings of A Piece of My Heart on September 29 to October 1. The opening play will be at 3:30 PM, while all other shows will begin at 7:00 PM.
