After months of practice, the Mustang Swimming and Diving Team is ready to set new records this year. The devotion the swimmers and divers have for their sport is demonstrated in their performance. The Mustang Swimming and Diving Team is willing to do anything to achieve its goals.

“Swim is really intensive and requires a lot of time and dedication,” says Ethan Hoang, member of the Varsity Swim Team and Cypress Ranch junior.

Along with exhibiting great self-discipline and passion, all members of the Mustang Swimming and Diving Team are fully supportive of one another during meets and practices. Great sportsmanship is shown for teammates as they preform. All members make it a point to be there for one another.

“Everyone supports each other and we all do our part to be successful,” says Alex Kemsely, Varsity Swim member and Cypress Ranch junior.

The Swimming and Diving Team have high expectations for themselves this year. They’re looking to set new records for the school and district – a huge task to overcome. In addition, the stress of beating individual times and obstacles is always a focus for the team.

“The atmosphere is warm and family-like, but it is very tough in terms of how hard we are pushed to reach our goals,” said Vedaant Kaura, member of the Swim Team and Cypress Ranch freshman.

The Mustang Swimming and Diving Team embraces the concept of team spirit and “Mustang pride” in everything they do. It is clear they have a strong foundation to build upon, and a great work ethic.
