Marking a milestone for the campus, Fairfield ER has officially announced its Adopt-a-School agreement with Cypress Ranch High School on Aug. 8. The agreement provides staff members, spouses and their children ER visits with no co-pay involved. Accordingly, staff will also be provided with food, beverages and treats, and students will be given supplies throughout the school year.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students. The program has resulted in 86 campus adoptions in CFISD.

This is the first time Cypress Ranch has been adopted by a local business, showing a growing bond throughout the community. Alexa Burridge, Fairfield ER marketing associate, expressed excitement about being the first company to step up.

“I know that you all have been waiting for that support for a long time,” Burridge said. “I’m really honored that I can be the one to step in, help you guys, provide some meals for the teachers and supplies for the kids. I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us.”

“We are truly thankful to Fairfield ER for adopting Cypress Ranch,” Dr. Maness said. “This partnership means so much to our staff and is a reminder that we are not alone in our work to support our students and community. Having the backing of a community partner like Fairfield ER strengthens the sense of connection that is so important to our campus. We are excited to partner with this incredible organization that wants to make a difference alongside us.”
