Eight seniors’ high school sports careers came to a peak on Wednesday, Feb. 3, when they signed on to play college sports with universities spanning the country. Students and their families gathered in the Commons after school amidst an atmosphere of good cheer to watch these players sign their letters of intent.

The baseball team saw four of their members commit to colleges. Marshall Skinner signed on to Blinn Junior College, and Garrett Herrmann signed on to Angelina Junior College. Zeke Bear and Joe Hunter both committed to Black Hawk Junior College.

Basketball player Cedric Turner signed on to University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Football player Collin Rock committed to Southern Methodist University, and Brayden Stringer signed on to Texas Tech University.

Soccer player Jessica Gerow will be playing at Auburn University.

Cy Ranch wishes these players luck as they start the next chapter of their sports careers and their lives.
