Since Cypress Ranch opened its doors in 2008, it has set a standard. Over the years, the campus has been known for its strong reputation, good sportsmanship and academic excellence as well as a constant evolution created by students themselves.
“I feel like everyone around me is in a more academic mindset,” senior Samantha Patin said. “It’s important to keep up with my classmates.’’
This Ranch experience can go beyond academics. In addition, the student news site “The Ranch Report” covers everything from local politics to school board politics and as well as student life.
Sophomore Lane Bond said the school encourages students to become more creative and comfortable in their environment.
Teachers at Ranch built an environment with high standards and created a strong relationship with their students to ensure that they can succeed.
This community is like any other large school; however, we can battle with social issues, including student conversations about failing, bullying and microaggressions. However, we do not let that pass, and we make sure nothing like that can happen in our campus, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for kids to grow and learn in.
“When I come to school, I feel like everyone makes sure to include you,” junior Dhruv Mantri said. “That it’s easy for me to make friends and as well as pass my classes with the help of my teachers. There’s so much diversity in this school and as well everyone makes you feel welcomed.”
At Ranch, admin makes sure to fix any problems, and they enforce a safe environment for students and teachers to be excited to come to school each and every day.
